Watercolor of a fine musician, Glen David Andrews, when still a very young man, playing trombone on Jackson Square in New Orleans. I loved watching him dance; he has a distinctive dance style!. Years later, when I saw him dance onstage at a festival, I realized immediately that it was the same young man.
Louisiana born artist Beverly Boulet began art studies at age four, and, luckily, had art classes all through elementary and high school, plus Summer art camps. She studied fashion design at West Virginia University, and continued her art education with workshops by noted portrait artists, including John Howard Sanden, Daniel Greene, and Foster Caddell. Ms. Boulet began painting murals and portraits in the early 1970�s at the Maryland and New Jersey beaches, and continued to do so upon returning to New Orleans in 1980. She has painted, literally, thousands of portraits in water media, pastel, and oils, which grace public and private collections internationally.
